Mrs. Pitt, a Manhattan interior designer, owns her own company, Pauline Boardman Ltd. She is also a board member of the Animal Medical Center in New York. Mrs. Pitt has two daughters by her marriage to D. Dixon Boardman, from whom she is divorced. They are Samantha Boardman, a medical student, and Serena Boardman, an associate merchandise manager at LuxuryFinder.com, an Internet site.
The bride is a daughter of Frances Drexel Munn of Philadelphia and of the late George F. Baker III, who was president of the First National Bank of the City of New York. Her great-grandfather George F. Baker was a founder of the bank, which became Citibank, and was also a founder of the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Pitt is the chairman of William Pitt Real Estate in Stamford, Conn., a brokerage firm that he founded in 1949. Mr. Pitt, a widower, was married for 45 years to Theodora W. Pitt. He has two stepdaughters, Sandra Doubleday, who is married to Nelson Doubleday, an owner of the New York Mets, and Hope Kelly, who is married to Eugene Kelly. His parents, the late Regina and William Pitt, lived in Stamford, where his father was a real estate investor.
Pauline married D. Dixon Boardman, son of T. Dennie Boardman and Vivian Dixon.
