Taylor Atla J, 95, Kendallville, died October 13, 1994 at his home. He was born July 25, 1899 in LaGrange, the son of John and Estella (Brailier) Taylor. He was the founder and owner of Taylor's Shoe Store, retiring in 1969. He married Esther B. Flanders September 29, 1923 in Coldwater, Mich. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Betty) Ehlers, Kendallville; 2 grandchildren, Scott Ehlers and Chris Boszor; 3 great-grandchildren, Angie and Summer Boszor and Megan Ehlers; 2 sisters, Violet Cunningham of Fort Wayne and Cleo Leas of Clearwater, Fla.; and a brother, Arthur of LaGrange. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Sunday in Hite Funeral Home. Burial, Lake View Cemetery.
