Obituary:
WILLIAM T. SINFIELD
William T., son of Thomas and Mary Tipton Sinfield was born near Centre Unity, Harrison Co., Ohio, November 9, 1870 and reared to manhood in that community. On March 16, 1910 he was united in marriage with Miss Bessie Lease of the neighboring Bethel Community, with whom together with one son Thomas W., he quietly and happily pursued and enjoyed life's journey up until the time of his death, November 10, 1923. Being at the time of his departure aged 53 years and 1 day. In early manhood he entered the employe of the P. C. C. & St. L. R. R. as painter and continued in the service until disabled by his final illness, Oct 27th, when he was stricken with pneumonia. He was a member of Unionport Lodge, No 333, F. & A.M. of the Order of the Eastern Star, Unionport Ohio Cadiz Chapter No. 171 at Cadiz, O., of the M. W. of A. Camp, Steubenville O. & R. R. Veterans Association all of which were represented at his funeral. The floral offerings were many and beautiful and bore silent testimony of the esteem in which the deceased was held. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. C. F. Rothel of the M. E. Church with interment in Bethel Cemetery where he was borne and laid in his final resting place by his six cousins: L.C. and William Peoples, B. W. Mickey, Alonzo, Charles and James Tipton.
