The Carmody family began around the mid-1920's when Howard William Moulton, my Dad's natural father, married my Grandmother, Sylvia Eleanor Gaucher. They had four children, Joan, Nancy, Richard, and Larry. They all grew up in the area of Detroit, Michigan.Later, my Grandmother and Grandfather were divorced, and Gram C. (as we called her) remarried to Robert Carmody. Robert legally adopted both Richard and Larry in 1946.
Howard married Sylvia Eleanor Gaucher. (Sylvia Eleanor Gaucher was born on 10 Apr 1910 and died on 17 Mar 1977 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, USA.)
