Their Regiment name was "the Buck Tails" and the "Paddytown Buck Tails".PADDYTOWN IS NOW Keyser, West Virginia.


Silas married Nancy Furlow. (Nancy Furlow was born about 1810 in Taylor County, West Virginia, USA and died about 1886 in Bier, Alleghany County, Maryland.)
