Jane E. (Reifsnyder) Blankenbiller Garner, 83, formerly of West Lawn, passed away Feb. 21, 2009, at 10 p.m. in Tremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont, where she was a resident since March 2000.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Howard H. Blankenbiller, on Oct. 19, 1957; and her second husband, Leroy E. Garner, on Jan. 17, 2000.
Born in Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Cyrus Reifsnyder and Agnes (Snyder) Spengler Reifsnyder.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane E. Leas, Oley; and a son, Lee H. Blankenbiller, Kutztown.
Other survivors include her stepchildren: June and Jean, both of Reading; and Judy and Diane, both of Leesport.
There are also two sisters, Ruth (Reifsnyder) Geisler, Wyomissing; and Betty (Reifsnyder), widow of Russell Willoughby, Aurora, Ind; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services in Spies (Zion) Cemetery, Alsace Township, will be private at the family's convenience. Friends may call on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St., Oley.
