MOUNT PISGAH - Richard "Dick" H. Dellinger, died at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday at Tyrone Hospital, Blair County. He was the husband of Estelle M. (Graves) Dellinger.
The service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Mount Pisgah-Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, near Yorkana. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, and 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
Mr. Dellinger was born in Lower Windsor Township. He was the son of the late William W. and Barbara Ellen (Leas) Dellinger.
He retired as a machinist in 1972 after completing 34 years of service with Thompson Corp., Lancaster.
A lifetime member of Mount Pisgah-Trinity United Methodist Church, he was a charter member of East Prospect Lions Club, which recently observed its 40th anniversary. He had served as treasurer of Machpelah Cemetery Association.
Mr. Dellinger also is survived by two sons, Wayne D. Dellinger of Windsor RD 1, and Robert Dellinger of York; two daughters, Carol Ann Buchar of Elkhart, Ind., and Elaine M. Kauffman of York RD 12; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, William Woodrow Dellinger of Spring Grove; and nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Richard L. Bowers, and the Rev. Edward H. Yarnell, of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Red Lion.
