Bessie Victoria Noll ¹

Bessie Victoria Noll Boyer was born on November 11, 1918 in Salem Township to Samuel Martin and Ida Viola Allen Noll. She spent her childhood years in Salem Center Community, going to Salem Center School, graduating in 1937. She attended the Trinity Reformed Church near the family farm. She was a member of the Orland Methodist Church and in her later years belonged to Salem Center Presbyterian Church. In 1938 she was married to Donald Maurice Boyer. This union was blessed with three daughters Donna Mae Boots who is deceased in 1971, Diana Marie Wilson deceased in 2005, she lived in Parma, Michigan , Lou Ann Gaff. Two sons Jerald Boyer, Angola and Richard Boyer, Angola. Survivors include 3 children, 18 grandchildren, 40 plus great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. Seven brothers preceded her in death and her husband preceded her in death. One grandson died in 1968 David Scott Livengood. Her life was spent doing the most important thing taking care and doing for her family, whom she loved so very dearly. God loved the family and guided them through life. He always walked beside them in joyful times and consoling and strengthening them in trying times. Funeral Services are at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home, Hudson with calling at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 P.M. Pastor Bill Hambright will officiate and burial will be in Block Cemetery. Memorials to Salem Center Presbyterian Church.
