John married Rachel Hibberd, daughter of Daniel Hibberd and Rachel Bonsall, on 30 Jul 1735. (Rachel Hibberd was born about 1712, died on 3 Jun 1745 in Darby Twp., Chester Co., PA and was buried in Darby Friends Burying Ground.)

Event: Acknowledgment 2 DEC 1737 Rachel condemned her marriage out of meeting, produced a copy of her marriage certificate out of Friends and also produced a copy of her marriage certificate, accepted
