Varying death dates in record: Carl Fleck's work notes from Adams County Hist Society state 1825/1826 since Ltrs of Admin given Peter Wolfert, Adm. of Estate, on 3 Feb 1826; Doris Leas (East Berlin, PA) cites 1825/1826 DAR Patriot Index gives 1810; and SCPGS Special Pub #4, pg 5 says 8 Feb 1817. Spec. Pub # 4 states birth 5 May 1788 which is the exact same date for Leonard, son of John the Patriot (this may be coincidence or data mix-up).

Leonard may have been moved to the Bermudian Brethern Cemetery after it was established in 1856.

Leonard married Mary Leathery, daughter of John K. Leathery and Mary Bechtel. (Mary Leathery was born on 25 May 1789 in York County, Pennsylvania, USA, died on 5 Jun 1873 in York County, Pennsylvania, USA and was buried in Bermudian Brethren Church Cemetery, Washington Township, York County, Pennsylvania, USA.)
