Randol Earl "Shorty", 55, of R. 1, Rome City, died Saturday in the VA Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born Sept. 10, 1924 in Stroh, he was the son of Albert and Thelma (Leas) Randol. He married Katherine Deller Feb. 25, 1946. A veteran of WW II, he was retired from Essex Wire in Kendallville and was a member of the American Legion in Kendallville. Surviving are his wife; 2 daughters, Mrs. Herman (Susan) Lehman of Wawaka, and Sherry at home; 3 sons, Jim of Rome City, Steven of Wolcottville, and David at home; a sister, Mrs. Oscar (Marguerite) Kline of Ligonier; and 7 grandchildren. Funeral Wednesday in Hutchins-Williams Funeral Home in Wolcottville. Burial, Orange Cemetery. + 1-?-1980
