Clementia of Zähringen, Duchess of Bavaria and Saxony and Countess of Savoy ¹

Clementia of Zähringen (unknown\endash 1175), was a daughter of Conrad I, Duke of Zähringen and his wife Clementia of Namur.[1] By her first marriage, Clementia was Duchess of Bavaria and Saxony. By her second marriage she was Countess of Savoy.

Clementia married Henry the Lion Duke of Saxony and Duke of Bavaria in 1147. (Henry the Lion Duke of Saxony and Duke of Bavaria was born about 1129 in Ravensburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, died on 6 Aug 1195 in Brunswick, Lower Saxony, Germany and was buried in Brunswick Cathedral, Brunswick, Lower Saxony, Germany.)
