GEORGE W. KESTER FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE HELD TODAY
Former Greenville Merchant Dies at His Home in Indiana After Long Illness.
GREENVILLE, O., July 27, 1934 -- Greenville relatives of George W. Kester, 70 years old, who resided in this city, have been notified of his death at his home at Marion, Ind.
Death occurred Wednesday night, following an extended illness. Older local residents recall Mr. Kester and his father, Sol Kester, were engaged in the retail dry goods business in Greenville about 35 years ago.
Mr. Kester leaves a widow and one daughter.
Police Officer Ora McClellan and Hallie Klinger, of Greenville, were cousins.
Funeral servicesa re to be conducted at Marion, Ind., tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
Burial will be made there.
