DOLLIE LEAS OBITUARY
Dollie Frances (Clymer) Leas, of Wrightsville, entered her eternal home with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 6:20 pm at her residence at the age of 71. She was the wife of Warren H. Leas, II of Wrightsville to whom she married on October 27, 1973, celebrating 48 years together.
She was born on June 20, 1951, and was the daughter of the late David E. and Frances Jessie (Howlett) Clymer. She graduated from Eastern High School, Class of 1969. Dollie was a nursing assistant at the former Manor Care South and Rest Haven York. She was a member of the Windsor Senior Center, the Veterans of the Vietnam War, Inc. & Veterans Coalition, she enjoyed going camping and spending time with her family.
Dollie leaves her husband, Warren, and three daughters to cherish her memory, Veronica F. Sponenberg and her husband Stacy of York, Melody A. Bridenstine of Chambersburg, and Christina M. Siharaj and her husband Ongat "Ben" of Smyrna, TN. She was the loving grandmother of Jessie, Jeanne, Akira, and Avry. Dollie also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Gayman and Ronnie Clymer.
A gathering to celebrate Dollie's life with family and friends will be on Sunday, at 1 pm at 413 Pinehurst Road, York, PA. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside services may meet at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road in Annville, PA by 2:15 pm., for the service beginning at 2:30 pm. Rev. David D. Tietje, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ in Red Lion will be officiating at the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to: Cancer Patient Help Fund, 25 Monument Road, York, PA 17403.
