Laurel "Sue" Arrigoni, 58, a longtime resident of Ventura County, died Sunday, August 23, 2015, at home surrounded by family who loved her. Sue was born, August 31, 1956, in Guntersville, Alabama to Lawrence Earl and Norma Isabelle Leas. After two years the family moved to Simi Valley where Sue was raised. Here favorite things to do growing up were riding the family's horses and spending summers visiting her cousins in Indiana. Sue graduated from Royal High School in 1974 and attended Moorpark College earning an Associate's Degree. Sue married her husband Clint Arrigoni in 1983. They were married for 32 joyous years and together raised their children Dean and Greg. Sue spent 2 years working as a Postal Carrier for the United States Postal Service prior to having children. Most recently, Sue worked as an Instructional Assistant for 8 years at Mountain Meadows Elementary School in Moorpark. Sue was a very loving mother and wife and enjoyed cooking, baking and decorating for the holidays. She loved all animals, but of course her favorite were horses. Sue was a kind, compassionate friend to all. She touched so many hearts with her warm, loving smile and will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her husband Clint Arrigoni, sons Dean (Josefina) and Greg; mother Isabelle Kravic, sister, Lauretta (Don) Hoofman, brother John (Joyce) Leas and grandchildren Emilia and Everett Arrigoni. There will be a visitation on Friday, September 4 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home and a Funeral Service on Saturday, September 5 at 10:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church, Westlake Village with interment to follow at Valley Oaks Memorial Park.
