Francis "Frank" Osborn Crow was actually born 11 Dec 1858, but both his headstone (Dec. 11, 1857) and his death certificate (11 Dec 1956) have opposing dates. His sister Mary Rachel Crow Steele, was born 05 May 1857 and she was the first born child.
Frank married Emily "Emma" Elizabeth Flagg 07 Aug 1887 in Tyndall, Bon Homme County, South Dakota. Their first two children, Lawrence James Crow and Harry Leo "Crowe" were born in Rossville, Allamakee County, Iowa and their daughter Frances was born in Goodrich, Sheridan County, North Dakota.
Frank and Emma lived in South Dakota a short time before moving north to Teton County, Montana. In 1920 they were in Burleigh, North Dakota and by 1930 they were living in Granby, Newton County, Missouri. Frank's brother James Blackburn "Crowe", living a short distance away in Strafford, Greene County, Missouri.
Frank was one of eight children born to Samuel Jackson Crow and Elisabeth Leas. Both of whom were of german parentage and born in Ohio. Frank died at the age of 81 years 5 months and 4 days.
