Elisabeth was the daughter of George Leas (1794-1870) and Mary Breem (1805-1883). She married Samuel Jackson Crow on 27 Sep 1855, in Cadiz, Harrison County, Ohio.
Her first daughter was Mary Rachel Crow, born 1857 Ohio. Then moving to Indiana, she bore Francis O in 1858, Altazana in 1860, Robert John in 1862, and George Seymour in 1864.
When they finally reached their home in Rossville, Allamakee County, Iowa she gave birth to Samuel Leroy 1867, James Blackburn 1869 and William Breem Crow 1872.
She only lived long enough to see one of her grand children, Wilbur T Steele. She died at the age of 42 years, 8 months and 14 days. 4
