Proprietor of the "Little Windsor" hotel in Kokomo, IN. Owned a 200 acre farm and a general mercantile store at Bunker Hill. Moved to Kokomo in 1852 and bought the mill just east of the Lake Erie depot. Drew pictures with pen and ink. Member of the Grace Methodist Episcopal church.

"The first steam flouring mill at Kokomo was the Leas mill, built nearly fifty
years ago across the railroad and opposite the Lake Erie Elevator. Worley Leas
was, for many years, the proprietor. In later years it was known as the Howard
Flouring Mills. The last proprietors were Darnall & Dawson. Lately it has been
discontinued."
